The Independent Order of Oddfellows was founded in 1819 by founder Thomas Wildey and four men that together thought they could make a difference. Since 1819 Oddfellowship has spread to 29 countries with over 250,000 dedicated members worldwide. The members all have the same goals; visit the sick, relieve the distressed, bury the dead, and educate the orphans.

Recently Brother BJ underwent successful surgery on his Thyroid. Due to some unforeseen complications he has been transferred to a hospital in downtown Chicago for further evaluation. BJ and his family want to thank everyone for all their kindness but respectfully ask for no visitors or phone calls until BJ starts to feel a little better (we will keep you updated).
